Doyleston bike track opened at Osborne Park

Young cyclists test out the bike track at Doyleston’s Osborne Park

The new BMX-style bike track at Osborne Park, Doyleston, was officially opened last month by Selwyn District Mayor, Kelvin Coe. He and Doyleston Community Committee chairman, Ian Walker marked the occasion by unveiling a new signboard. The mayor praised the hard work of the community over a series of working bees in build-ing a valuable resource for the children and young people of the district, and acknowledging the contributions of materials and labour by local businesses Southern Excavation and Driveways, Leeston Hire, Leeston ITM and Bert Millin.
